THEME 16 - 2024 1ST POSITION
Very often I go back to the basics of playing the harmonica.
It all started with playing in the key of the harmonica.
Many blues players initially find this limiting and even confusing. But it is really worth investing the time to play in what we now call the 1st position.
The possibilities are limitless and the bendings are very bluesy.
It is important to know where the root notes of the chords are found.
In this video I emphasize these basic notes, in this case it is:
For the A (= I) chord 4: blow and 1 blow.
For the D (= IV) chord: 2draw whole note bending.
For the E (=V) chord: 2 draw.
As always, have fun!!
