This was a fun one to arrange, but a tough one to play. I realized after I arranged it and started learning it that it would have been much easier to play in another position (key), but by then I didn’t want to turn back. The challenge was a bit much sometimes but I eventually got it at least to this point. I do like the way it “swings in these keys( positions). I’m using an Hohner Marine Band Deluxe harmonica in the key of A. The violin sections that come in the second half are played by me on a Lekohlm DM48x digital harmonica. Fun parts to arrange and play.
If Bach is rolling in his grave from this, I hope he’s doing the jitterbug…lol. His compositions and melodies lend themselves so well to so many styles and variations. Hope you enjoy Bachs’ Badinerie and if you do, please share away.
