I found this story in a book published about the history of Yass in December last year:
I can’t find any evidence to corroborate the story, but Dr Bennett, the Naturalist mentioned as the person who reported the behavior in 1832 was definitely a real person who was around in NSW in the 1830s.
Anyone else heard stories of sheep going crazy and eating other sheep’s lambs at birth?
