Multimodal literacy in ELT: Developing contemporary communication skills | Kieran Donaghy
In this session, we will explore the meaning of multimodality and multimodal literacy. I’ll share the best ways to help learners go beyond the four skills, understand and express themselves through a variety of different media. Let’s examine the implications of multimodal literacy on our teaching, and learn how to incorporate the key skills of viewing and representing into classroom practice. Discover tried-and-tested frameworks and activities to use with multimodal texts in your classroom.
