Bush mistakenly condemns ‘invasion of Iraq’ instead of Ukraine

Former US President George W Bush criticised an “unjustified and brutal invasion of Iraq” in a slip of the tongue when speaking about the Russian invasion of Ukraine. The US-led invasion of Iraq took place during Bush’s presidency.
