MOKAN Railcams Hammond, Kansas Fort Scott Subdivision (BETTER SOUND AND BETTER INTERNET COMING SOON)

Welcome to rural Kansas where it’s quiet and filled with nothing except for fields and small grain elevators with the occasional small town. This is the Fort Scott Subdivision looking south linking busy Kansas City and Springfield, Missouri with Hammond being roughly around the half way point (MP ). Here at MOKAN Rails we invite you to stay and watch the train traffic that goes through South East Kansas. This subdivision acts as the primary gate way for BNSF traffic to the south east from the western United States. Trains you will see are; coal trains, manifest trains, vehicle trains and the once to twice a week intermodal trains. You can except to see around 15-25 trains a day depending on what traffic for the day looks like. DISCLAMER: unfortunately with the camera being a in rural area the internet isn’t so great but with Star Link in the future we plan to get better internet coming in 2023. Expect to see some glitching and some buffering. Hammond Train Log:
