Getting your students to write when they don’t have to

Unlike school or university students, adults who study General English don’t have an incentive to write or a punishment for not writing, so they complete a level after a level writing nothing. In my workshop, I want to share how I get my students to write anyway. Why don’t students write? Do writing prompts in course books work? Can we revamp them if they don’t? How about alternative tasks? Can writing be done in class? Join me to explore the magic of writing.
