Running on a Tandy / Radio Shack Micro Color Computer 10 (MC-10) this program originally appeared on the December 1983 Family Computing issue, written for many micros by Joey Latimer - among them a version for the MC-10 ’s big brother the Color Computer.
As the SOUND tone values are not the same for a given musical note between the MC-10 and the CoCo, I had to modify the values contained in the many DATA statements in the original program; left unchanged the music sounds off-key from subtle to downright horrible. Once that was taken care off I just added the required notices on screen to submit to Reddit’s Retro Battlestations.
My MC-10 as shown here is fitted with the Darren Atkinson’s MCX-Basic expansion board. This, besides adding as much RAM as the MC-10 can recognize, it also expands the BASIC repertoire to something closer to the Extended Color Basic found in the CoCo. A much wel
