It was later revealed that the footage of The Alien Autopsy was not real, and it was the creation of magician and film maker Spyros Melaris and Sculptor John Humphreys. The black and white footage of the alien in the Alien Autopsy was shot in Camden, London in 1995 by Magician and film maker Spyros Melaris. The footage was made as a psychological experiment and it was planned that the film would be exposed as a fake and an explanation about how it was made. Ray Santilli, who was co producer had other ideas, and sold the film all over the world claiming it was genuine 1947 footage from the Roswell incident. This program is only one of many who purported the autopsy as genuine, and for that reason credit was not given to Melaris or the alien’s sculptor John Humphreys.
