This commission was done to support the students, musicians, choral singers, and ensembles in Belarus who were forcibly silenced during the turmoil and protests in 2020. We sing in solidarity with them, raising our voices to the “Song of Belarus,“ while their voices again rise with hope and light to change lives once again.
