8-29-2021 Waveland, MS Hurricane Ida Storm Surge Big Waves Water Into Businesses Vehicles Submerged

In Waveland, on the anniversary of Hurricane Katrina, many areas were flooded and some vehicles were left abandoned in storm surge. Roofs were damaged by high wind. Numerous homes and businesses had water in them and many roads were impassable. A curfew was put in place due to storm impacts at 6pm Sunday evening.
