Oleg Voukolov

Oleg Aleksandrovich Vukolov (born October 2, 1933, Pyatigorsk, USSR) is a Soviet and Russian artist, painter. People’s Artist of the Russian Federation (2004). Academician of the Russian Academy of Sciences (2007). His works are kept in the Tretyakov Gallery, the Russian Museum, and in many museums around the world. In Germany, America, Hungary, Czech Republic, China, in private collections. At the moment, due to illness, the artist, together with his wife Marina Bakuleva, a well-known art critic, lives and works in Forcalquier.
