They are talented human beings with their own stories, hopes and dreams. Displacement can happen to any one of us as a result of war, violence, drought, climate change and more. @ Refugees works hard to ensure that everyone has the right not just to survive, but to thrive… for ourselves, our children, and our community. We are in this together. That’s why today I’m honored as a UNHCR Goodwill Ambassador to pass the phone to Aqlima, who was forced to flee Somalia for Ethiopia. I’m excited to share more about her story in the coming weeks.
