Typhoon Rumbia brings death, downpours in central, eastern China

Nine people have been confirmed dead after Typhoon Rumbia, the 18th this year, wreaked havoc across central and eastern China. Although Rumbia has weakened into a tropical depression, the rainstorm alert has been upgraded for some regions due to the expected heavy downpours.
