An Assyrian folk song hundreds of years old, popular amongst eastern speakers of the Syriac dialect. Allalaye is a lullaby traditionally sung by mothers, grandmothers, and anyone rocking their baby or child to sleep. The lyrics were researched and collected by Mr. Shlimon Betshmuel.
