(47)Dragon’s Scale Coasters! OR Paperweights!? Chameleon Mica’s!

#fluidart #shelliandersonart #acrylicart #uniqueart #pouring I wanted to try my hand at creating Dragon Scale Coasters. I just LOVE the look. I was inspired by Christina Welch and Sherry Moulton. This was another first for me and a learning experience for sure…I have never used UV Resin or tried the Bubble Technique to achieve the scales. I wasn’t satisfied with the first set as coasters….maybe paperweights!?😂 So I decide to try again and I am much happier with the results. I used just over 2 oz of Stone Coat Countertop Resin in how thick I applied the UV Resin. Also, I used Black Metallic Powder in the resin-you need it to be opaque so the chameleons will pop! I really want to make another few sets so I will be purchasing individual Translucent/Transparent Silicone Molds. Hope you enjoyed this video…and like me maybe learned something!
