Artist Jegikjan talks about his art: “I’m painter. Painting is my main field of activity for a total of about thirty-five years. I am fascinated by contemporary art, which I fell in love with when I was seven or eight. The language of art is very dear and dear to me and lives deep in my heart. I am very grateful for the fate of this! I love contemporary art and art in general. I studied painting with three masters. Since 1997 I have been a member of the Estonian Artists ’Association and the Estonian Painters’ Association. My first paintings were born in 1978. Since 1992 I call my painting style mummuism. Mummuism - this is some circles in the picture. There is usually no special system in the process of painting mummuism’s canvas. But the mummuistic style in my creation - that is to say, there is something in Expressionism, Post-Impressionism, Abstractionism, or something in between.
