Saw Mark & Al’s previous band Shorty’s first and final shows as a teenager. Witnessed Shorty break-up on stage with the drummer throwing his sticks and leaving the stage(not his fault they were trying out a new bassist that had difficult shoes to fill). These guys were kind enough to invite me to their first show ever in Minnesota as U.S. MAPLE at Carleton College. Brought a friend and we were the only two people there to see them besides the opening act. Lost track of how many times I saw them perform and hope that there will be a reunion some day.
