UNLOOTABLE PIXEL BUNKERS, the easy way! (A Rust Building Tutorial)

EXTRA VIDEO: Here’s a guide on how to integrate pixelgap bunkers into bases: IMPORTANT TIP: Practice clipping the triangles together. It’s the only place the method can fail, and takes a bit more precision with larger gaps. You generally know you did it right when the second triangle sticks into the first, but your character model can still take another tiny step sideways, with the triangle not turning red. Do it a few times and you’ll get a feel for it. Well worth the practice. In this Rust building guide I showcase new methods, easy, fast, and reliable, to create horizontal pixel gap bunkers, as well as thoroughly explain how and why they work (Up to a point. Perhaps we’ll go deep dive into Rust’s tolerance system at some point). Personally, I prefer using the tightest, least detectable pixelgaps, as they’ve served me extremely well (For a year now, I’ve built ONLY my “Grail“ solo/duo base, and never once did anyone get my loot in an offline raid), but it’s good to have options. EXTRA TIP: With the building knowledge acquired here, I can also tell you that what the roof does in Gabe’s method is, much like my method, limit you to a specific gap size. However, knowing what we now know, if you really like the roof method, it can be somewhat refined: 1) walk straight into the roof 2) crouch and place a triangle foundation 3) cross over (no jump) 5) crouch and clip the second triangle into the first. You should THEORETICALLY always get a 83 size gap, and with the advantage of being crouched when clipping the foundations, for maximum accuracy, but be aware not to distance from the roof or wait there too long as that will reintroduce the issues inherent in just crossing foundations strafing.
