Yvonne Rainer’s RoS Indexical - Dublin Dance Festival 2010

Dublin Dance Festival is proud to present work by legendary choreographer Yvonne Rainer. RoS Indexical invokes the passion and furore that accompanied the notorious premiere of Stravinskys The Rite of Spring in 1913. Audiences were outraged by Stravinskys dissonant score, by the drab tunics worn by the dancers and their percussive, earth-bound movements. Dancing as a quartet of individuals, four remarkable performers take on Rainers mission of achieving a re-vision of this disruptively glorious work. Yvo
