Fisheries authorities distribute impounded fish

The fisheries protection unit in alliance with the ministry of fisheries and other concerned stakeholders have impounded immature fish in Kalangala, following an increase in illegal fishing operations. As a way of discouraging immature fishing, the authorities have distributed over 500kg of immature fish to the local populace there for free consumption.
