Gospel of Diabolical Freedom is the second hymn to herald the arrival of orthodox Polish diabolists, Teufelsberg’s second full length album. Taking the steely old school malevolence of their homelands, and mixing with the ice fires and marble edifices of Nordic and Hellenic strains of the genre, the six tracks on Pakt mit dem Teufel offer a formidably new form of familiar – as often the most compelling forms of black metal are wont to do. Ancient grimnity, dark occultism and uncompromising momentum define this single track, and the full album itself. Signal Rex are releasing this album in full on the 31st October.
