How do the rotorblades of a gyrocopter bend, while spinning with 300 rpm? The video shows the view of a camera attached to the jesus bolt of a Autogyro MTO sport. The flight was performed solo (75kg pilot) with 20L gas in the tanks, so the rotors rotational speed was about 310 rpm flying level. The maximum bending of the rotor blade during spin-up, start, flying, 1,5g turns and landing never exceeded more than 100mm at the rotorblade tip.
