SCP-2942 is a phenomenon affecting NaTIS, the South African National Administration Traffic Information System. In cases of SCP 2942 , existing South African license plate numbers and NaTIS registration numbers are reassigned to vehicles which are not recognised as conventional motor vehicles, are not intended for operation on roads or on land, or are otherwise not normally authorised for civilian operation.
