Morgan Toney performs ALASUTAMAQN THE STORY AND THE SONG 2021 The Story and the Song is the East Coast Music Hours celebration of the east coast songwriter. This 2021 series presents 21 new songs that explore themes connected to our collective journey throughout this pandemic. Many words come to mind to describe what we’ve all been through over the past year. From the loneliness of isolation, to the despair of the unknown, and to the hope that rebirth will bring, we all have stories to tell. Music can be a lifeline when telling stories of our time. The Story and the Song 2021 is formed around three themes: Isolation, The Unknown, and Rebirth. 21 new original songs, 7 for each theme by 21 East Coast artists. Five videos will be released this month from artists taking part in the series. Morgan Toney is a Mi’kmaq Fiddler from both We’koma’q First Nation & Wagmatcook First Nation and in this track he is teaming up with producer Keith Mullins. His theme is THE UNKNOWN.
