Xiaomi Monst Faceup - Timelapse

It was about time to paint another vinyl doll. My choice for a new faceup is a Xiaomi Monst blank doll. And this time he will be a little boy named Amurg. He’s eyes are the starts and his hair is the Moon Light. (I was a bit inspired by the Little Prince by Antoine de Saint-Exupéry) In Romanian language, Amurg means Sunset or Twilight. For his faceup I used mostly watercolors, liquid watercolors, soft pastels, Liquitex gloss and Mr Super Clear as sealant. The painting process was an experiment as this is the first time I’m mainly using watercolors instead of soft pastels for details and shadows.
