A split between the transcontinental Invicta Miseria from the United States and France, and Amargor from Catalunya, under the banner of the mighty Pile of Heads.
In this second outing, we are able to see Invicta Miseria under different lenses, performing a black metal much cleaner than before, more atmospheric with the depressive traits almost erased but now carrying some ambient ones.
Amargor, as the name states, takes the name to heart, taking the lo-fi duties unto himself in sheer contrast with the softer route from Invicta Miseria. And while it covers the same angles, also using atmospheric black metal and an ambient track / intermission, it is deeply soaked in rotten harsh textures.
While musically these two vision might seem conflicting, conceptually they both explore the human fragile condition while we romanticise the (un)importance of each individual in the scheme of time,
