Larkin High School junior Christian Negron is no ordinary high school basketball player. This past season he was named to the IBCA 2nd Team. While earning All-State honors is impressive for the 6’6” junior, he played internationally this previous summer for Puerto Rico’s U17 National Team. He led them to a FIBA Americas Centrobasket U17 championship in San Juan. He averaged 14.8 ppg, 8.6 rpg, and 2.2 blocks a game while earning tournament MVP (via Chicago Tribune).
