Vereist (France) — Eistraum — 2023 demo

The second record eleven days after this project’s debut. On this second demo of this project that belongs to the Pourpre Nébüleuse collective, we are given a similar output of lo-fi and atmospheric black metal soaked with synths but also populated with pure ambient transitions. Probably the biggest difference is the black metal parts where the synths become more muffled than before while the purely ambient ones transport the listener further into ritual aesthetics instead of previous dungeonish ones. Such a mixture happens on the first track as the second one is performed into a lo-fi/ atmospheric almost without synths, in a blizzard like texture. While both releases are good, this one certainly hits more deeply my raw ‘n atmo craving.
