Restoration Big VIKING Axe

Hello folks! Today, the restoration of a big Viking Axe. I have wanted to restore such an item for a very long time. The item looks epic! When I first saw it, I immediately wanted to restore it and conduct an axe test! Well, let’s start the restoration. The first duty I did was to clean the surface of the axe with a rust remover. Next, I cleaned the surface with sand and moved on to manually sanding via sandpapers (from 40 to 600 grit) the blade and the head of the axe as a whole. It took a lot of time to polish. Then I started polishing the axe. At the end, I oiled it and started creating the handle. For the handle of the Viking axe, I chose a dry beech. I processed the wood, notched the surface with a chisel, this will add mood to the axe. Added genuine leather to the axe handle. And I conducted a very fun Viking axe test for you. I know you will like this restoration video! Sincerely, Alex. Thanks for attention! Good luck and health to everyone! Wit
