building a small wood fired kiln

I built the kiln with regular bricks, clay and some pieces of 15 mm rebar. My first firing attempt was a failure, because I reached temperatures to high by using the fan on high and I fired the pots 4 and a half hours. On my second attempt I fired the bowl 1 and a half hour with the fan on low and another 2 hours on medium.
