Human Epidermal Keratinocytes: HEK (1)

Human Epidermal Keratinocytes undergoing normal growth in culture (for 5 days post-thawing, with medium changed every other day). Note that although the cells are actively migrating, they tend to stay together after cell division, forming the typical epithelial islands. Occasionally single cells may escape the islands and glide rapidly across the dish, but upon coming in contact with other cells, they usually slow down and continue moving as part of the multicellular island. *See also:
