There are many places to learn Mandarin on the internet, however very few places that you experience old school Mandarin class. These videos are actual ZOOM classes where Tian Laoshi introduces new videos and concepts. She also reinforces past important concepts. This is old school Mandarin teaching that will help refresh your Mandarin you are a new student to Mandarin, it will help to tune your ears to the phonics of Hanyu. During these lessons Tian Laoshi reviews common Intermediate Homonyms. Just as in any language many words sound the same. This is doubly true for Westerners learning Mandarin. Mandarin is much like singing. You can tell if a song is being sung well by how the artist plays or sings the notes. This video helps to identify, hear and use these important words.
