After trying to head up to I-80 and finding it closed for the next 14 hours, I resorted to trying I-70 through the Colorado Rockies. A winter storm of blowing snow caused not only slippery roads, but spontaneous white outs. This caused traffic to pile up and slow across the pass. As traffic slowed the craziness ensued!
