Restoration Rusty Bearded Axe

Next, I used a rust remover, then washed, dried and rubbed with oil. The surface was cleaned with a wire iron brush. I made new axe bevels. Then I started file work to correct the shape of the axe. To polish the cutting edge, I used sandpaper from 120 to 1200 grit and additionally sanded on a felt circle. To avoid appearance rust, I used ferric chloride.
