Hello folks! Today I want to show you my new restoration project. I found this rusty short sword at flea market. I’m not sure, it’s old broken sword or something new handmade, but in any cases it’s so interesting item for me. Well, let’s start restoration.

First of all, I dismantled the old part of the handle. Then, via rust remover liquid I removed rust and dirty. Then washed, dried and oiled it.
Then metalworking, sanding and adjustment began. I did not polish it, carbon steel. I made new bevels, corrected and etched the blade in a solution of 10% nitric acid.
