Allegro 10:08 This Sonata by Karl Kohaut (1726-1784) was originally written for the baroque lute and transcribed by Julian Bream for the guitar. This performance comes from the 22nd Aldeburgh Festival in 1969. The BBC issued a transcription disc (124860) of the Kohaut as well as music by Sor & Giuliani. In 2021, the DOREMI label issued a CD of Bream’s performances from 2 Aldeburgh festivals, including this Kohaut Sonata.
