Travelling to London on April 23rd the English national day, I hoped to find festivities and pride abounding in our once great country, instead I found an army of hostile police and the reality that the state has turned “Englishness“ into something to be frowned upon with any show of patriotism crushed. I travelled to various places around London seeking events and only found one, a Tommy Robinson rally near Downing Street.
