The equally fresh ’Electricity’ is laced up with just that - a long-playing late-night journey filled with flashes of static that liven up the groove for a bouncy track with heady drive and undulating modulations. In 2023, Jon Hester launched his Participation label as a way of working with fellow underground talent. Following outings with the likes of Cassy and Tadeo, he now works with DJ Shufflemaster for the fourth instalment of the project, a core artist of the Japanese techno scene with EPs on Tresor, Theory Recordings, while also running his own Shiki Kyokai label.
