[INTERVIEW] Loup Marcault-Derouard about JIŘÍ KYLIÁN’s “Gods and Dogs“

Loup Marcault-Derouard recounts the journey of initiation offered by this piece, which follows the path of a man oscillating between animal and spiritual dimensions. The dancer explains the dramaturgy of the piece, which takes place in a dark atmosphere by candlelight. Lastly, he discusses the choreographer’s language, which is by turns lyrical and rough, and the work done in the studio to give shape to the aesthetic of the piece.
