LIVE: Outdoor pubs, restaurants and hairdressers reopen in UK as some restrictions lifted

Ruptly is live from London on Monday, April 12, as UK reopens outdoor dining for restaurants and bars. Furthermore, non-essential retail, hairdressers, beauty salons, gyms and zoos will also reopen as the nation starts ’Step two’ of Boris Johnson’s COVID lockdown roadmap. According to the updated set of rules, outdoor gatherings are still to be limited to six people or two households. Socialising indoors is not possible for people who do not belong to the same household or support bubble. Further easing of the rules is expected to come when the nation starts ’Step three’ on May 17.
