Blake Courville - From Chest Injury To Better Training
Blake Courville grew up in the Ronnie, Branch and Johnnie era where more weight is ALWAYS better. After sustaining a few pec injuries, he was forced to learn how to activate his chest more versus focusing on the poundage.
Here, Blake is 3.5 weeks out from the Better Bodies Classic and gives some insight to his mentality being so close to the contest and on 0 carbs for the past 5 days. He also shares a lot of the cues he learned to better activate his chest through presses and how he must manipulate training volume this close to competition.
Blake is planning on competing here and then rebounding with a 4 months growth phase to prepare for this years NPC Nationals.
