Boroghil, Chitral-Pakistan 1

Broghil or Boroghol as the local put it, is a destination with a history, known background and is popular with tourists. It is the place from where in the Chiantar glacier originates the Chitral River. It has passes to different region of norther areas including the Darkot Pass [15000ft] that opens into the Yasin valley and Karambar Pass [14250] opening into the Iskkomon valley leading all the way to Gahkoch and Gilgit city. Darwaz Pass opens into Afghanistan. The total population of Broghil is about 50
