Romney booed, called a traitor during fiery Utah conference

Mitt Romney has narrowly survived a censure motion as he faced down boos and jeers as he took the podium at a Utah Republican convention over the weekend. Senator Romney, who is the only Republican to vote to impeach former President Donald Trump twice, survived the censure motion 798 votes to 711. While the motion failed, many Utah Republicans vented their frustration with their senator, booing him and calling him a “traitor”, and a “communist.”
