Schistura denisonii in natural habitat

Found a very social group of a generally very territorial species. Its always fun to watch a loach in the wild and its a bonus to see them in big numbers at a single location. These can be seen round the year at Talakona water falls, near the Tirupati hills in Andhra Pradesh. This is a tributary of Swarnamukhi river.
