WW1 Sleeping In The Trenches - Distant Artillery War Ambience

It’s winter 1917 and you are on the western front. It’s unusually cold and the ground has started to freeze. You are settling in for a quick nap before heading back to your duties. In the distance the sound of constant bombing / shelling and artillery can be heard and seen lighting up the sky, with periods of silence that are not long lived. As you tuck into your ditch under relative safety from German enemy fire, you notice your fellow soldiers talking and laughing amongst each other, some playing cards. A few walk along the trenches. Further down the line you hear the next team on night duties , repairing and building the trenches, draining the water out and laying down sand bags. The night is young but for now you can rest your head knowing that you have come here to fight for your country in honour and will go down in history as a hero when this is over … 🌀Listen with headphones 🎧 for a full 3D Immersive Audio experience 🌀 This is my original WW1 Immersive Trench Am
