Thymesia Demo - Varg Boss Fight (No Damage) - New Upcoming Soulslike / Thymesia Boss Fight Gameplay. Just a quick video showing the boss fight in the Thymesia game demo, defeating the boss while taking no damage. Thoughts and details below. This is a bit of a weird one. I saw some gameplay and trailers for this, and considering it was a soulslike it actually looked pretty interesting. So I gave the demo a try. At first, I’ll admit it feels kind of strange to play. The timings just felt off, especially so when you’re trying to parry. Similar for dodging and basic combat... it all just didn’t feel right at first. BUT, after playing for a little while and fighting the boss, it actually felt a lot better at that stage. I think it was just awkward at first until you got used to it, but the boss fight itself the combat for that felt decent. It’s also one of those games that feels similar to Sekiro where it’s usually more beneficial to not move when dodging Perilous Attacks, and to be as aggressive as po
