1063HP Mercedes-AMG One Hypercar w/ F1 V6 Hybrid Powertrain: Demo Runs, Accelerations & Race+ Mode!

After its unveil in 2017, last June Mercedes-AMG revealed the production version of the AMG One. This long period of time has been necessary not much for the development of the car itself, which was already in its definitive form back in 2017, but to make road-legal and ’daily’ usable the complex F1-derived powertrain. The ICE is a modified Mercedes-Benz PU106 Hybrid engine, a turbocharged 90-degree V6 engine used in the 2014-2016 Mercedes-AMG F1 Formula One cars (W05, W06, W07). Modifications were necessary to be used on the roads, both in terms of emissions (lowering the RPM’s idle), durability (reducing max rev limit) and practicality (for example the use of normal petrol and not the one used by teams on their actual F1s). The little V6 produces 574 hp at 9,000 rpm. The ICE work in conjunction with four electric motors. Like on modern F1 cars it has a MGU-K and a MGU-H. The MGU-K serves to generate electricity during braking, while the MGU-H serves to eliminate turbocha
