Mike Longo-Good Bait

Former Oscar Peterson protege and pianist/musical director for Dizzy Gillespie, Mike Longo, performs Tadd Dameron’s “ Good Bait“ with his trio in Miami Beach. It was July 31st of 2007 at Arturo Sandival’s jazz club in Miami Beach, aptly named, “Arturo’s“, that Mike played with Duffy Jackson on drums and Rick Doll on bass. This trio had never played together before and Mike showed up with some bass and drum parts and they just hit it. The results were magic! Judge for yourself and thanks for listening.
