Agent Hugo | Full Game Walkthrough | No Commentary

The PlayStation 2 is undoubtedly one of the consoles that has had the most game releases. And thus there are many forgotten games and gems if you know where to look. Agent Hugo is definitely one of those forgotten games, but it is not a gem. It is a stealth action game with some vehicle elements to it where you take on the role of a troll who works as a secret spy. The story and tropes takes some inspiration from James Bond. Unfortunately the end result is quite clunky and feels rushed. It’s a shame because the game has a certain charm with it’s colorful cast of characters and pretty interesting city of a large city with all these canals that are full of water vehicles. It kinda reminded me of a lower budget setting of Beyond Good and Evil. But once you get to the stealth sections you start to realize that the gameplay is not very engaging or challenging.
